The following Terms and Conditions govern the offer and sale of products on Hi-Tech (A.E.M) Pte Ltd (“Hi-Tech”) (company Registration No 201205407G) (Hi-Tech website (www.hitechaem.com). By accessing and making a sales order on Hi-Tech website, you agree to be bound by these terms and conditions and any other applicable terms and policies that appear elsewhere on the website. Hi-Tech reserves the right to amend any terms and conditions without prior notice.
Section 1: Sales Order
All Sales Orders submitted are subject to our acceptance and stock availability. Until you have completed your order, items are not reserved and may be purchased by other customers. Hi-Tech reserves the right to cancel or terminate any obligations to fulfil the Sales Order for any reason or refuse service to anyone at any time at our sole discretion, even if the payment for the Goods is made. In such event, refunds shall be made for the price of the Goods.Hi-Tech shall not be liable to you or any third party for such termination or cancellation.
Section 2: Payment
Payment may be made using any of the payment methods prescribed by Hi-Tech. The payment methods may be subject to additional terms as prescribed by Hi-Tech.
Unless otherwise stated, all listed prices are inclusive of Goods and Services Tax (GST). Hi-Tech reserves the right to amend the listed prices at any time, for any reasons and without prior notice.
Goods will only be dispatched after payment is made in full. Hi-Tech shall not be liable for any delay, non-delivery or cancellation of Sales Order in the event that the customer fails to make payment pursuant to the terms and conditions of the payment method elected or if the payment is cancelled for any reasons.
Section 3: Promotional Codes and Discount Coupons
Promotional Codes and Discount Coupons are non-transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash. Only one Promotional Code or Discount Coupon can be applied per transaction and it cannot be used with any other promotions listed on Hi-Tech website, unless otherwise stated. Promotional Codes and Discount Coupons must be used prior to the expiry date and within a single transaction.
Discounts from the Promotional Code and Discount Coupon will be redeemed against, and up to the total purchase value. In the event where the total purchase value is lower than the discount value, the excess value will not be refunded or exchanged for cash.
Digital Coupons will not be replaced if it is lost, stolen, deleted, or if the order is cancelled or purchased item is returned. The terms and conditions stated in each Digital Coupon shall be final and conclusive.
Section 4: Errors on Our Site
Occasionally, there may be typographical errors, inaccuracies or omissions that may relate to product descriptions, pricing, promotions, offers, product shipping charges, transit times and availability stated on our website. Hi-Tech reserves the right to correct any errors, inaccuracies or omissions, and to change or update information or cancel orders even if payment is made. We will, at our discretion, either contact you for instructions before shipping or cancel your order and notify you of such cancellation. In the event of such cancellation and payment is made, refunds shall be made for the price of the affected item(s).
Section 5: Product Description & Colour Displays
Hi-Tech attempts to be as accurate as possible. However, we do not warrant that the product descriptions, colour displays or any other content of this site are accurate, complete, reliable, current, or error-free.
Section 6: Delivery/Self-Collection
For an order less than S$50 per order, delivery charge of SGD$50 will be charged if and added to the total value of your Sales Order. Delivery will only be made to one address within Singapore mainland and within working hours (Monday to Fridays, 8:30am to 5:30pm and from 8.30 am to 12.30 hrs). Our customer service officer will contact you within 2 working days from the submission of your online Sales Order to arrange delivery.
Self-Collection can be done after 1 working day from the submission of your online Sales Order to facilitate the transfer of Goods from the warehouse to our office. Goods must be collected within 14 days from the date it is ready for collection.
For Self-Collection, please bring along your NRIC and Sales Order confirmation slip. If you have arranged for someone else to collect the Goods on your behalf, please contact our customer service officer at 6749 3003 or email us at [email protected],com to inform in advance and provide the appointed person’s full name and contact number. Hi-Tech reserve the right to refuse any collection by persons other than the actual buyer reflected on the Sales Order.
Section 7: Exchange and Refund Policy
You may return Goods that are faulty if they are received damaged or where a manufacturing fault occurs within 10 days from the date you receive or collect the Goods.
Goods returned must be in the original condition and in the original packaging. Please bring along the product warranty card and Sales Order confirmation slip for the Return. Kindly contact our customer service officer prior to the return of the Goods to our office.
Goods returned will be left with us for inspection and where possible, we will offer to repair the faulty items. If it cannot be repaired, a one-to-one exchange will be made for the same product in the same size and colour, subject to availability and to the same conditions applicable for returns. If the same product is not available, you may exchange with another product of your choice at the same or higher value. Our customer service officer will contact you once the repaired or exchange Goods is ready for collection. If you require us to deliver the repaired or exchange Goods to you, a delivery fee of SGD$30 will be charged.
In the event of a refund if a repair or exchange is not possible, all free gifts, vouchers, accessories associated with the purchase must also be returned. If delivery has taken place for the Sales Order, refunds will exclude the delivery charges paid. The Price paid with respect to the relevant Goods shall be refunded by cheque. Please note the normal processing time for refund requests is 4 – 6 weeks from date of request.
Hi-Tech’s decision on the Goods repair, exchange and refund are final and conclusive.
Section 8: Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
These Conditions of Sale shall be governed by, and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Singapore.
All disputes, controversies or differences arising out of or in connection with these Conditions of Sale shall be submitted to the Singapore Mediation Centre for resolution by mediation in accordance with the Mediation Procedure of the Singapore Mediation Centre for the time being in force. The parties agree to participate in the mediation and undertake to abide by the terms of any settlement reached.
If any such dispute cannot be resolved through mediation within 30 days of its submission to the Singapore Mediation Centre, the dispute shall then be referred to and finally resolved by arbitration administered by the Singapore International Arbitration Centre (“SIAC”) in accordance with the Arbitration Rules of the Singapore International Arbitration Centre (“SIAC Rules”) for the time being in force, which rules are deemed to be incorporated by reference in this Clause.
